Research Focus

My research explores the intersection of feminism and urban development in civilization, examining how gender perspectives shape cities and societies over time. Through an analytical approach, I aim to contribute to inclusive policy frameworks that promote gender-sensitive urban growth.

Biography

A public service enthusiast with a deep commitment to social equity, I am an avid reader who believes in the power of knowledge to bring about change. My empathy for others drives my academic pursuits and fuels my passion for research and advocacy.

Origins

Rooted in the diverse cultural landscape of Assam, my paternal heritage traces back to Hajo, a town known for its historical coexistence of Hinduism, Islam, and Buddhism. Hajo’s spiritual landmarks, including the Hayagriva Madhava Temple and Poa Mecca, reflect Assam’s ethos of unity in diversity.

Equally significant is my maternal connection to Barpeta, the heartland of Assam’s Vaishnavite culture. Barpeta, home to the revered Barpeta Satra founded by Mahapurush Sri Sri Madhavdeva, has long been a center for spiritual, literary, and cultural renaissance. Its legacy of Bhakti movement traditions and Sattriya art deeply influences my appreciation for heritage and inclusivity.
